Only one false step in the dark made her trip and fall hard and headlong, in the meadow, with the pale moon over. Head over heals dogged by great misfortune. Head over heals, flying. Losing herself to the old well. But as long as we tried a little and as long as we ventured some. And then the hear says rolled down the valley. Like the river flows in to the delta. And the songs split by the forked tongues humming. Still in the wind, turned into a whisper. Still in the wind, flying. Losing herself in the winds tale. But as long as we tried a little and as long as we ventured some. But as long as we tried a little it doesnʼt matter how we all end

How, in my bones, that feeling of embarrassment remains like a tattoo on my skin. But words had already slipped my eager mouth and are now hovering in the air. I said a prayer for them to be picked down by a savior, safely, onto the ground and I knew that it would leave, a sour feeling in my belly. Grow up! How she did die I overheard. My parents conversation gave me the facts kept from younger ears and how it was burning me from the inside out. Like a secret waiting to be told. It grew much bigger than me so I cleared my throat, I raised my voice, to speak, like the kid that I was and immediately I knew Iʼd never been worthy. Grow up! Deep, deep down in my gut, a ball of shame Deep, deep down droops my head, a last farewell Deep, deep down from within is where I sang for you, Johanna. Thatʼs how we learn things, when we are hurting.

Ropes 04:12
Being one, does it mean losing one of two? Did I push all my dreams on you? Are the waters deeper than you can overcome? Are the horses running off to somewhere you donʼt want? Oh, itʼs making you sick when weʼre falling. Who will I become if you change the route? Who will you become if I cut us loose? When the ropes weʼre tangled in are gone, will we change or will we stay as one? What will we become? Growing old, does it mean losing some of your nerve? With a thicker skin, are the longings we hold preserved? Are the weathers piling up in a darkened sky? Are the answers there to find once the rains have poured down? Oh, itʼs making me sick when weʼre falling. Who will I become if you change the route? Who will you become if I cut us loose? When the ropes weʼre tangled in are gone, will we change or will we stay as one? What will we become?
